THese paintings were created in the 1990s when I had small children and found myself at local parks. I showed about 10 Works at an exhibition at the Women's Gallery in Fitzroy and also smaller works in group exhibitions.
I was painting a show for Qdos, Lorne and interested in contrasting the fluid approach of the landscapes. I wanted to explore interiors and dividing up the canvas into different views. It is an approach I am still interested in. Its probably something I will return to But sometimes I feel there is no where to go with these,
This was an important painting as wanted to create movement but also graphic definition. In parts of it I let the paint "take a walk", and created tones and for me new colours. I was also interested in how to convey scattered movement : the disjointed and the balanced. ( I keep cahnging its name!)

This is quiet a big painting and I have worked on it several times. Its moody and unstructured and has its perspectives all mixed up. In some ways its like two painting in one.The upper and lower halves. I may work on it again. Providing the paint can stick!
I had gone back to life-drawing and was also using a grid in my work to make more graphic images and play with tones . This was a a bit if fun
A small still life painted early 1980s.
I was creating a lot of work in Spain in 1984, but nothing has survived apart form this little landscape . I was painted of our local village in Catalunia.
