I continue to paint landscapes and they are becoming more exaggerated. Making references to familiar shrub and terrain while pushing colour combinations. I have been layering horizontal patterns, which reminds me of the laying down of sedimentary rock. These familiar views: country that is changing and will continue to change over time and eventually disappear : the loss seems more rapid, the distortion unprepared for while the warnings sound louder.
